Hypertension:

Hypertension is a condition where the force of blood against the artery walls is very high, sometimes causing heart diseases. The blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood that the heart pumps and the resistance of the blood in your arteries. When the excess blood is pumped by the heart, and the narrower the arteries, combined can increase the blood pressure.

Hypotension:

Hypotension is a condition where the blood flows through dilated arteries and is not regulated. Too much blood gets pumped out in and into the heart which can cause the heart to malfunction.

  • Dehydration and unusual thirst.
  • Distracted, less concentration
  • Blurred vision
  • Cold, clammy, pale skin

Hypotension is called Nyuna Raktachaapa in Ayurveda. According to Ayurveda low blood pressure occurs due to the destruction of Vata and the weakness of Agni. To be able to balance the Vata is to manage various ailments and issues like constipation, malnutrition, enema, and Anemia.

Hypertension is the disturbance in the vata and pitta where the Vata is imbalanced, as a result, the blood pressure is increased. Home remedies for controlling Blood pressure

  • Drink one cup of Beetroot juice twice a day.
  • Pranayama (Bhastrika, Surya bhedana), Shava asana, and Sarvang asana should be practiced for improvement.
  • Add small amounts of Cinnamon, black pepper, and cardamom to your daily diet
  • Take a mixture of 1 spoon of ginger juice and 1 spoon of honey and take it twice a day one hour prior to food.
