Ayurvedic Treatment For Cancer

Shree Navgrah Ashram has been treating various diseases with the help of Ayurveda but the main goal of the Ashram is to make the world cancer free. In the pursuit of this aim, the ashram has provided successful Ayurvedic treatment to nearly 25000 cancer patients so far.

Cells are the basic units that make up the human body. Cells grow and divide to make new cells as the body needs them. Usually, cells die when they get too old or damaged. Then, new cells take their place.

Cancer begins when genetic changes interfere with this orderly process. Cells start to grow uncontrollably and may form a mass called a tumor, which can be cancerous or benign. A cancerous tumor is malignant, meaning it can grow and spread to other parts of the body while a benign tumor grows but does not spread.

The knowledge and management of the disease, Cancer was not unknown to the ancient surgeons of India. Diseases having the signs and symptoms similar to those of Cancer are discussed in various contexts in Ayurvedic literature.

In Ayurveda, cancer is described as inflammatory or non-inflammatory swelling and mentioned either as ‘Granthi’ (minor neoplasm) or ‘Arbuda‘ (major neoplasm). The nervous system (Vata or air), the venous system (Pitta or fire) and the arterial system (Kapha or water) are three basics of Ayurveda and very important for normal body function. In malignant tumors all three systems get out of control (Tridoshas) and lose mutual coordination that causes tissue damage, resulting in critical condition. Tridoshas cause excessive metabolic crisis resulting in proliferation.

Herbal decoctions used in the Ayurvedic treatment are made of multiple herbs, viz. Aloe vera, Wheatgrass, Ashwagandha, Garlic, Periwinkle, Black Turmeric, Cyperus Scariosus, also known as Cypriol, Nutgrass, etc. possessing great potential for a cancer cure; scientifically these formulations work on multiple biochemical pathways and influence different organ systems altogether and nourish the body as a whole by supporting the body‘s deference systems.
At Shree Navgrah Ashram, every Sunday, free counseling sessions are held for Diabetes patients, followed by free distribution of medicines. We aim at providing valuable services to humanity and redefining health care with Ayurveda.
